We are kicking off something pretty cool, and we are not doing it from behind a closed door. We are building Routride out in the open, shouting from the digital rooftops, and frankly, We could use your brainpower..
So, what’s this Routride thing all about?
Imagine this. You’re driving to work like you do every day.
Your passenger seat is empty. The car is quiet — maybe too quiet — so you turn on the radio or play music just to keep yourself company. Meanwhile, hundreds of commuters are heading in the same direction, looking for a comfortable ride and willing to pay for it.
One empty seat.
Someone is going your way.
A trip you were already making.
That’s the idea behind Routride. A smarter way for everyday drivers to earn from the routes they already take — while helping commuters get where they need to go.
This isn’t your typical “tap an app and hail a stranger” situation. Routride is about something different — community. It’s for people who travel the same roads every day. The same routes. The same morning and evening commute.
Think of it this way: Your normal drive to work… but with the opportunity to earn a little extra by sharing the ride with someone already heading your way.
We will be documenting this whole adventure – the good, the bad, and the "why did I think that was a good idea?" moments. If you're someone who stares at the same road every day and thinks, "There HAS to be a better way... and maybe a way to make some dough?" then you, my friend, are who we need to talk to.
